The Family That Plays Together

If all my luck ran out tomorrow
I do believe that I have had my share — John Gorka, Gravyland

I’m a lucky guy, no doubt in my mind. I live with some creative, cool folks that I am happy to call my family. We had a blast on Saturday morning playing music together at the Starkville Community Market. While the core of Henry and The Dynamite is Henry on lead vocals/harmony vocals/keyboards, Nate on drums/bass and me on guitar/harmonica/banjo/mandolin/and lead & backing vocals, the rest of the family joined in on the fun.

Eldest son Dan pitched in with lead vocals on “16 Tons” and played drums on “Ripple” (Nate shifted to bass and Henry played mandolin on that one). Meredith sang beautiful harmony on the Stephen Sanchez hit, “Til I Found You.”
