What I did with my summer vacation

Well, my summer tour has wrapped up and, while I could go on about the cool places I went and the cool people I met this summer, one of the highlights from my summer was playing music with the people I love most in this world.

If you recall, I blogged previously about the China Shop Bulls’ cover of The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.” Well, not only have we put a couple more covers under our collective belt this summer, we’ve also changed the family band name to “Henry and the Dynamite” — at least for the time being.

If you’ve not seen them on YouTube, we covered “Song 2” by Blur, “Henry The Eighth” by Herman’s Hermits, and The Romantics’ “What I Like About You” this summer.

The boys are back in school, and I’ll soon be back into my normal teaching routine. But that doesn’t mean we can’t work on some new covers in our free time. Got any suggestions?
